Pope Benedict XVI's visit to New York City has prompted a first for CBS and the PGA Tour, streaming live TV coverage of a tournament to their Web sites. The decision to put the Verizon Heritage broadcast online was made because the network's New York City affiliate, WCBS, will preempt the golf to follow the Pope.

Justin Rose withdrew from the Verizon Heritage with a bad back.
